The vuSmartMaps Mobile App enables you to access data analytics and visualizations from the VuNet platform directly on your mobile device. You can view and interact with dashboards that feature various types of visualizations and receive alert notifications.

The app helps you check your environments quickly and in real time. It gives you configurable dashboards, proactive alerts, quick insights, and root cause analysis capabilities, so you can manage things effectively even when you’re on the move. This leads to better business outcomes.

There are 3 main sections in the vuSmartMaps Mobile app:

Storyboards/Dashboards can only be created and configured in the web app, the Mobile app will only be able to visualize it.

💡Note: Mobile dashboards are configured differently, not like web dashboards.

Once you have created the Mobile Dashboards, your app’s homepage will resemble the screenshot below, displaying the main Storyboard.

After creating your dashboards, it’s important to set up permissions for specific users or user roles to access mobile dashboards.

When you click on KPI or any other visualization, it will expand to show a more detailed view.

The vuSmartMaps mobile application retrieves dashboard data and alerts within a specified time range, which can be selected using the time selector. The time selector is displayed at the bottom of each dashboard screen and on the alerts screen.

When you click on the bar, a pop-up will appear displaying a list of time ranges.

After selecting and applying a time range, the Dashboard and alert screens will retrieve data within the specified time range.

The Alerts section serves as a centralized hub for displaying alerts and notifications about critical information. When something really important happens, like a value going beyond its normal value, it will show up in red. This enables users to readily identify areas requiring immediate attention and take appropriate actions accordingly.

In the Profile section, under the Debug Settings, there is an option called Log Level where you can set the levels for the mobile application logs to be stored in the file. You can turn it off as well. By default the log level is set as CONFIG

These logs are used for debugging the issues in the mobile application, In case you are facing any problems in the app, You will be requested to share this log file with us.
